A new version of Py4D is available. I fixed all reported bugs, implemented a new OnlineUpdater and added some new stuff which was requested by users. If you already made some scripts/plugins I would really like to see what you have done with Py4D, even the package is shipped with some examples.

The first updater had a lot of problems on some systems so I am sorry to say that this update is not available via the OnlineUpdater. For me its a new experience so I just have to learn how the update process works on all the different systems – but I hope the Updater which is shipped with the current version is stable and works fine. If you have any problems, please report them.

To download Py4D 0.9.5555 just click on “Get Py4D!” (at the right side). You don’t need a new license if you used Py4D before.

Have fun :)

Today I released Py4D 0.9.5060. I fixed a lot of bugs and added some new features. This version is not available via the OnlineUpdater so just download the whole package but don’t forget to save your current projects before you replace Py4D. You can get the package here. To see the ChangeLog, open the Documentation and click on “ChangeLog” or just click here. You don’t need a new license if you already have a serial license.

Please report all bugs. Thanks :)

Hi,

here I am again. Yesterday I released the first version of Py4D and I am very happy to see that so many people like to see Python in CINEMA 4D. I am glad to see that all systems are still running (otherwise they didn’t wrote me a mail :) ). I found out that a lot of people know Python or just have heard of it because its already implemented in all the other applications like Maya or Blender.
