Do the following steps to install Py4D on your system. The latest version is available for Win and Mac. Py4D is compiled for 32/64bit versions of your CINEMA 4D version.

1. Check requirements To install Py4D check out the following requirements.

Installed CINEMA 4D R11.x (full or trial)
mac osx 10.5/10.6 | windows 2000/xp/vista/seven

2. Install packages (!)

If you use a Mac, you can just ignore this step and continue with step 3. If you use Windows, you have to install one of the following packages (Microsoft Redistributable 2008) you can download from Microsoft, otherwise Py4D will be ignored on startup of CINEMA 4D.

For CINEMA 4D 64 Bit (Download 2,3 MB)

3. Request a Py4D serial

Skip this step if you use the trial of CINEMA 4D or  you already have a license code, otherwise fill out the following form to get a license which expires on March 31, 2010.

4. Download Py4D
There is a folder called ‘Py4D’ which has to be copied to the plugins folder of CINEMA 4D. Be sure you use this folder, otherwise the plugin will not work. Py4D is shipped with Python 2.6.2.

Py4D v0.9.9980 (current version)

If Py4D is already on your system, its very important not to merge the folders.
Please delete all previous versions, otherwise CINEMA 4D will crash on startup.
